Ice Hockey World Championships (1920 to 2001)

The first World Championships were held back in 1920. Since then the tournament has been an (almost) annual event for the World's best hockey players. Team Czech Republic played as team Czechoslovakia 1920-1992. Team Czechoslovakia managed to win the tournament no less then six times. They also captured 12 silver medals and 16 bronze. Team Czech Republic have won the tournament four times and also has one bronze medal.
